APU Snow-lympics

Been sitting inside looking out the window and longing to go play in the snow? Well here is your chance. Two days of fun in the snow! Day One will include Human Skijoring and a rousing game of Snowshoe Softball. Day Two will have Ice Skating on the University Lake and a game of Capture the Flag, ending with a Barbeque. Think it's to cold outside? Gather round the fire and warm yourself with some hot cocoa! Picture-perfect winter wonderland FUN!!

Iditarod Tailgate Party

Did you know that the Iditarod runs right through the APU campus? Join Recreation Programs, Student Activities and Outdoor Programs to watch the dog sled teams go by and cheer them on! Warm beverages and food provided!

3rd Annual UAA vs. APU Boulder Smackdown

Enter a team of 3 climbers into this unique bouldering competition held at APU's Climbing Wall. Think Fun Run, climbing, and school rivalry all mixed into one. Food, competition t-shirts and awesome door prizes! This is a fun, low-key comp that is open to beginners. UAA won the trophy the first year and we took it back last year; who will take it home in '07?
Date: Friday, Mar 9th
Time: Check-in is at 5:30pm
Location: APU Climbing Wall (lower level of the Atwood Center)
Fee: $28 per team of 3, pre-registration (by Feb 23) is only $24
Open to: APU and UAA Current students, Staff and Faculty.
