APPENDIX C: MAJOR COMPETENCIES REQUIREMENTS
When you choose your major, you should request from the department a list of the competencies for the major. This will likely line out course requirements but will also list general skills and understandings that are developed over time as you work through specific course requirements. Departments have worked out preferred formats for demonstrating these competencies. If you have questions about these, contact your major advisor.
