METHODS FOR DEMONSTRATING THE COMPETENCIES

All competencies will require evidence in these forms:

1. Essay (typed/computer printed and conforming to the standards and style of the writing conventions observed by the your major area);
2. Oral presentation (optional);
3. Documentation pertinent to the emphasis area.

Suggested Portfolio Format

The suggested format for presenting documentation of individual competencies in the Portfolio is as follows:

1. Name of the specific competency
2. Narrative, descriptive and evaluative essay
3. Documentation materials which demonstrate competency.

Tabbed divider sheets are a convenient means for organizing the presentations (ie. a labeled section for "written communication", another for "oral communication", etc.)
