Dean of Students and Student Affairs Division
The Dean of Students' office coordinates much of the vibrant, out-of-classroom opportunities that are central to the college experience at Alaska Pacific University. APU students are deeply engaged in creating a special community of scholars that features active learning, personal involvement, adventure, and purpose. Throughout the year our students journey into remote Alaskan wild areas on outdoor program adventures. They work with residence hall students organizing retreats and social happenings. Others organize leadership conferences, music celebrations, and community service events. The Dean of Students' office is deeply involved in creating opportunities for APU students to learn, grow, and test their abilities and personal limits.
 The Dean of Students oversees the Student Affairs Division of APU. The following areas of college life receive direct support from the Dean of Students.
